Simply incredible, the biggest drawing in the world

Me da igual que pueda tratarse de marketing viral o cualquier otro montaje similar, lo importante es que la idea, como tal, me encanta. En teoría, el “experimento” artístico se llevó a cabo, aunque eso también es lo de menos de manera increíble. No se trata de nada nuevo, porque sólo es una manera de llevar al límite lo que se conoce como GPS Drawing.

Se toma un GPS adaptado adecuadamente para este trabajo. Con este aparato, aprovechando la ayuda de la empresa de transportes DHL, se diseña una ruta a lo largo del globo, siguiendo rutas de entregas de la compañía, para trazar un dibujo. ¡Vaya dibujo! El GPS, recorriendo todo el globo, registra el recorrido que, una vez completado el viaje, se convertirá en un dibujo sobre un mapa. El resultado es divertido y sorprendente, nada más y nada menos que un retrato de la persona que puso en marcha la idea. En total, 55 días de viaje a través de 62 países y 110.664 kilómetros de recorrido. Buena publicidad para DHL, veamos el resultado:
